In late 2016, Hop Culture was started in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, by Kenny Gould and Travis Smith, two college friends who loved drinking and writing. A year later, they had three more adventurers on staff who spend their days writing articles, throwing sold out festivals, and designing merch for people who love craft beer.
Hop Culture was born as an online magazine, and has since grown rapidly to include a festival/party circuit and regular merch drops. We spend most of our time on the road collabing with our favorite brewers and friends.
After a year in Pittsburgh, we moved our headquarters to NYC, where we currently have an office of 5 full-time staff. However, we are almost never home. Once a month, we are in a new city throwing parties and beer festivals. For the full calendar, check here.

To get people excited about our favorite drink, and help shine the spotlight on local craftsmen. Also, to party.
